This is good news for English club, Newcastle after it managed to make it out of relalegation by defeating Jose Mourinho side.
This is really a tough time for Manchester United as it has suffered yet another misery at St James’ Park Today as Newcastle has dash their hope of ever winning the English Premier League title this season.
Newcastle hosted the match at St James Park as it ended in 1-0 victory for the home side.
Going by Mourinho past record, he has never won the Tyneside in the Premier League and this has made it the seventh match as Matt Ritchie shocked the visitors at the 65th minute with a goal.
A quick check on the English premier league table showed the United are now 16 points behind Manchester City as they have just 11 games to go.
Matt Ritchie has aided the club in it first ever home win game as they manage to escape relegation.
The table showed Newcastle are now 13th on the table although they are only two points below the bottom three.
Tonight's game is Newcastle’s first ever win at St James’ after nine attempts.
