Former Arsenal point man turned Manchester United striker, Alexis Sanchez in a new statement have stated that English club, Chelsea had once made Argentina cum Barcelona star, Lionel Messi cry.

Sanchez, who is also Chile star player had had the opportunity to play alongside Messi at the Camp Nou before coming to England.

The duo during Sanchez stay at Barcelona had both shared the same dressing room together.

The United new forward during his chat with popular sport news media, Sky Sports, disclosed it was possible for any player to cry during a game especially if the player lost out in a final. 

He added it was all a part of football as he said the Barcelona super star had cried in the dressing room after losing to Chelsea game.

Sanchez said it was normal because at times a player may demand so much from himself.

Taking a look down the record lane, it was observed that the game Sanchez was talking about was the 2012 Champions League semi-final meeting during which Barcelona and Chelsea had gone head to head.

The match had ended in a 1-0 with Chelsea leading in the first-leg, However,  the second leg was very difficult for Barcelona as the English club put up one of the greatest defensive game.

Following the removal of the then Chelsea captain, John Terry, the Blues maintained a 2-2 draw against the Catalan giant till a last minute goal from Fernando Torres gave Chelsea a total victory.

The two clubs are expected to meet again in the Round of 16 in the Champions league come 20th February, 2018. Can Chelsea do it again?
