We are still living in fear, Ortom tells APC governors

Benue state governor, Samuel Ortom on Friday, disclosed that residents of the state live in anxiety and still under attack of cattle rustlers .

Ortom expressed this while welcoming northern state governors and All Progressive Congress governors head by the chairman governors forum , Shetima Kashim.

Ortom disclosed that the Fulani herdsmen still kill and mame residents in the state, while the herders take over farms of the Benue residents.

Orton stated, ' we say thanks to God that peace is continuously coming back to the state however there are still lots of difficulties here , we know the difficulties will soon be over in light of the fact that our security agents are trying to bring back peace to the state.

" Let me reveal to you that our residents are as yet living in anxiety and under attack, living in fear on account of the arrangement of risk by herders which began the danger since seven months back.

" We have proves and evidence against them, we want the APC fg to prosecute the leaders of this group.

Ortom who thanked the governors for the visit said his administration is focused on one Nigeria and guaranteed president Buhari for good leadership in the state .

The representatives likewise said Nigeria will be great again if its leaders can tackle the issue of insecurity in the country.
