Dickson congratulates Obasanjo on bagging PhD at NOUN

Incumbent Governor of Bayelsa State , Seriake Dickson, has praised previous President Olusegun Obasanjo after acquiring his PhD at the National Open University .

He likewise approached governments at all levels to invest more money to promote education in the country.

The governor revealed that proper education can bring sustainability in the country.

He disclosed that the basic development each government can give to its citizens is education, because education can transform the lives of individuals living in a country.

Mr fidelis soriwei The Special Adviser to the Governor on Media Relations, revealed the governor stated this while attending the PhD ceremony in honour of Obasanjo.

Mr Dickson approached state and federal government to equip NOUN University in other to deliver quality education to their students.

Dickson stated, " I call for more help to this college. The university needs adequate funding to perform researches and deliver quality lectures to its students.

Seriake Dickson said Nigeria will soon be the third most populous country in the world after India and China, he disclosed that Nigerian youth ought to compete with this countries in terms of Education, Technology, Security,Economy and many more.

Meanwhile the previous president Olusegun Obasanjo praised and thanked all individuals who honours his ceremony.
