- US and Russian Presidents, Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin shower praises on each other

- Putin praises the American economy as he calls out Trump's oppositions

- Putin says Moscow does not recognize North Korea as a nuclear power

For once there is a new found friendship between US President Donald Trump and his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin.

The two super power countries' Presidents had a phone call yesterday where they complemented each other and also talked on the on going crisis brewing over North Korea  nuclear weapon acquisition.

During the phone call, US president Donald Trump in an unusual manner appreciated Pres. Vladimir Putin for praising America’s economy.

As confirmed by Russian power house, Kremlin, it reported the two Powerful men discussed “the situation in several crisis zones, with a focus on solving the nuclear issue on the Korean peninsula."

The White House on it own part gave the account as saying the two “discussed working together to resolve the very dangerous situation in North Korea.”

Trump via a statement released by the US said; “President Trump thanked President Putin for acknowledging America’s strong economic performance in his annual press conference."

Trump acknowledgement of Putin came as a reaction over what the latter said about the American economy during a press conference. Putin said: “Look at how the markets are reacting, they are growing. This shows confidence in the American economy. With all due respect to (Trump’s) opponents, these are objective facts.”

The media has termed the new relationship between the duo as a “bromance.”

In other news, special counsel Robert Mueller is still on investigation on a possible cooperation between Trump campaign and Moscow during the US pre election that aided Trump's victory.

Earlier this week, the US via its Secretary of State, Rex Tillerson said it was ready to talk to North Korea “without preconditions.”
However, Trump led government is insisting N'Korea drops it weapon programme.

Putin who is vying for another six year term as the President of Russia in his annual press conference with journalists in Moscow, welcomed the United States' “awareness of reality” in the crisis while calling on both sides not to heighten the situation. He however said Moscow does not recognize North Korea as a nuclear power.
