- Hackers meet at east German city of Leipzig for 34th convention
The annual convention of Hackers is seeing thousands of hackers trooping in in the east German city of Leipzig on Wednesday.
The annual convention which is a four day event run by the Chaos Computer Club Under the motto “Do Something,” is expected to deal with hot topics that has to do with hacking such as security vulnerabilities, hacker attacks, data protection and artificial intelligence.
Aside dealing with aspects of IT security, political and social debates play an ever increasing role at the annual convention.
This year's convention which is the 34th Chaos Communication Congress (34C3) continues to grow as it witness a large number of people.
Over 15,000 hackers are expected to participate in this year’s event at the Leipziger Messe exhibition grounds, the new home for the event after years of being held in the northern port city of Hamburg.
