NO less than seven people were apparently murdered amid the Christmas celebration on Adim Akpa and Utonkon people group in Otukpo and Ado Local Government zones of Benue State.
An onlooker stated: "They raged the town on motorbikes at night, shooting sporadically, leaving two individuals dead while some others managed wounds, after which they fled the scene.
"The issue was promptly reached to the Police in Otukpo, who encouraged the general population to resist the urge to panic, promising to reinforce security in the region. In any case, as I talk with you, the general population have all forsaken their homes looking for a safe put."
