Manchester City coach, Pep Guardiola, has revealed that his club's 1-0 EPL win against the defending champion's Chelsea on Sunday at the Etihad was important to their journey of winning the class title this season.
Chelsea made an error in the first 30 seconds of the second half to concede a goal,from Bernardo Silva who completed off David Silva's long pass to acquire the three point's for City.
After the win, City are currently on 78 points, with 18 point league lead on second place Liverpool.
Guardiola told newsmen, the game was very important for the club "It was so essential, a win today is another bit nearer.
"Manchester city needs four league victories to be EPL champion's, if we can display this kind of attitude in other games, we will be champion's, Guardiola stated."
"Against a solid group like Chelsea, who are as yet the champions, and beat them in the way we did today, that is the reason it is so great.
"Our playing abilities was so great as far as control and attacking at the right time. Everyone was great."
