London club, Arsenal have affirmed the jersey number of striker, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who agreed to join the emirates side in north London on Wednesday.
Arsenal reveals that the former Dortmund striker will wear Thierry Henry's unbelievable No.14 Jersey number.
The star forward was bought for a club-record of £56million following two weeks of serious arrangements with Borussia Dortmund.
A chance to wear the well known No.14 was displayed to Aubameyang following Theo Walcott's turn to Everton.
Auba reveals to Arsenal.com: "I think the club have such a major history and have extraordinary players like Thierry Henry who is a case for all strikers.
"He was quick and scored a great deal of goals he was extremely a good example. Possibly ( I will take on his steps) however I need to work a great deal to step his path.
"I am a quick player and nets goals as well, similar to Henry. I need to work a ton to get there.I trust that we return to the best as quickly as time permits."
Former players who have used the legendary No14 shirt with Arsenal are Martin, Thierry Henry, Walcott and now their new signing Aubameyang.
Aubameyang will replace Alexis Sanchez after his transfer swap with united and henrikh mkhitaryan.
