Liverpool tell Barcelona Coutinho’s price

Liverpool have asked Barcelona to pay £145million if they actually need to sign Phillip coutinho.

The price would be the greatest for a player who does not have any release clause in his agreement.

Jurgen Klopp's squad flew out to Dubai on Friday night for a preparation camp without Coutinho, as arrangements over his transfer to Camp Nou proceeds.

The signing would secure a stunning benefit for the Anfield club, who purchased Coutinho from Inter Milan for £8.5m in 2013.

The previous summer, Barca went as high as £114m, however Liverpool declined to release the Brazilian playmaker.

Furthermore, their position has now diminished, with Klopp declining to rule out Coutinho's transfer when interviewed about the information this week.
