A fire accident caused by a spark from an electric cable has supposedly slaughtered four young children in Hadejia town, Jigawa State.
As indicated by representative of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps Adamu Shehu, who addressed journalist on the fire accident said the incident happened on Jan. 20 at around 10:45 p.m.
Adamu expressed that the children who are triplets, Hassan, Hussain, and Muhusin, and their senior sibling, Aliyu Sale are from the same family.
He stated, "On Jan. 20, there was a fire outbreak at the house of one Alhaji Sale Tela of Tudun Tanda quarters in Hadejia town.
"The incidents caused the demise of triplets and their senior brother in particular: Hassan Sale, Hussaini Sale, Muhsin Sale 5 years and Aliyu Sale 2 years.
" The fire additionally destroyed property worth thousands of Naira.
"The fire incident we think is a fire spark from a water kettle," the representative said.
The Representative also warns individuals in the state to be cautious while handling electric appliances.
The community chiefs have reportedly sent a condolence message to the family of the victims
