Ex Chelsea turn Arsenal goalkeeper, Petr Cech, in a fresh statement has issued out warning on the possibility that the English club may miss out of the most prestigious club competition in the world, the Champions League this season.

Cech revealed that if  Arsenal must make it to the Champions League, then the team must be ready to improve their present form in the English Premier League between now and the end of the season or else the club might not feature in another season of the Champions League.

The Gunners finished 5th in the English Premier League table in 2016-17 and now there are possibilities that they would have no other choice than to settle for Europa League action again as they move one step downward, 6th position this time around.

The goalie made this known ahead of Arsenal's match against Swansea tonight. He said: “We are a club that belongs in the Champions League.

Petr, however affirmed that every year the battle for a spot in the top four becomes harder because the league is getting competitive.
