This is a breakthrough in science and world record, as an American woman was delivered of a healthy baby girl from an embryo that was frozen a quarter century ago.
The baby was given birth to on November 25 and named Emma Wren Gibson. This was revealed by the National Embryo Donation Center (NEDC) in Knoxville, Tennessee.
According to information, the embryo was frozen by another couple back in October 14, 1992 while the woman named Tina Gibson, who just gave birth to Emma Wren, was born in 1991.
Gibson now 26 said if the baby had been born back in 1992, the two of them could have been best friends.
She however revealed the doctors didn't inform her that the embryo had been frozen for more than 24 years until she was pregnant.

Gibson said when she was told, she had thought of it as a joke.
Mellinger further said the couple were selected for the embryo based on a profile of genetic characteristics, but were not told how long the embryo had been frozen.
It was revealed three embryos were implanted in Gibson with only one surviving.
Well, according to some experts there should be caution about proclaiming such a record as US companies for example are not required to report the age of the embryos, just the outcome of the pregnancies.
Gibson and her husband had been unable to conceive a child of their own and are so excited about Emma as Benjamin, the new father describe her as a sweet miracle.
He said; "I think she looks pretty perfect to have been frozen all those years ago."
