International singer who hails from Colombia, pop star Shakira earlier  Today revealed she has cancelled out the remainder of her world tour entitled ' Eldorado World Tour'.

The reason for this action from the singer is owing to a problem with her vocal cords as she however said she hoped to bounce back on stage come June of next year.

Shakira in a statement she issued via her website said; “Though I very much hoped to be able to recover my vocal cords in time to pick the tour back up in January, and after exploring many options to that effect, I have accepted that this is an injury that simply needs more time and care to heal."

Shakira who is popular for her hit sing “Hips Don’t Lie” cancelled the European leg of her “El Dorado World Tour” back in November and according to her plan she hoped to resume the tour in June 2018 with concerts in Europe, the United States and Latin America.

Shakira in her apology to fan said it was a necessary precaution; “I feel for all of you who planned ahead to come to these shows and who have been so patient as I took the time needed to figure out the best course of action with my doctors."

In an ending note she revealed she  can’t wait for June as she promised to give fans her very best when the time comes. She said; “I promise to give you all of me and more from the minute I get on that stage and I am counting the days till showtime!”
