As we move to the end of 2017, a lot of people have been sharing their 2017 experiences, celebrities inclusive. One of such music celebrities includes Solomon Ayoleyi, who goes by the stage name Reekado Banks.
Reekado Banks is a talented artiste signed to one of Nigeria's famous label, the Supreme Marvin Dynasty own by ace producer, Don Jazzy.
Reekado during one of his chat reacted to reports that all the artistes signed to Don Jazzy’s own label, Mavin Records have been finding it hard to perform at highly-rated shows this year.
The singer said that people had the freedom of speech to say whatever they like as they didn’t have access to his bank account which is proof of what they don't know. He said he had made more money this year than the past as he described 2017 as a better year.
He further added that all Marvins singer are booked to the end of this year and was very sure a singer like Tiwa Savage signed to Marvins, who dropped hit songs this year would say this year was not good for, the same thing applies to all Marvin singers.
Reekado style as a singer is not affected by negative comments as long as he drops good music and gets shows. Although he admitted that negativity has made some artistes to be more relevant than others.
He said controversies is needed in showbiz as it make one remain relevant in the industry and he said he doesn't quantity success with awards.
He said; “In showbiz, no matter how good you are, the controversial singers get more credit and awards.”
