- Pres. Donald Trump will undergo a physical examination next year with the promise to make the result public
According to the White House, U.S. President Donald Trump will be undergoing a physical examination come 2018. Another thing is the result will be made public .
Pres. Trump will be examined by a military doctor as is the custom at Walter Reed, a military medical center, “scheduled for the first part of 2018,” said White House press secretary Sarah Sanders.
“Those records will be released by the doctor following that taking place,” she added.
The announcement of the physical examination comes a day after Trump appeared to get a dry mouth while he was delivering remarks on Wednesday, which led to questions about the his health.
“There were a lot of questions on that, frankly pretty ridiculous questions,” Sanders said.
“The president’s throat was dry. Nothing more than that.”
As is the custom in the White House, Past US presidents underwent annual physical examinations with a military doctor with the examination results released to the public.
In the case of Trump since his coming to power, this will be the first time the White House is set to release Trump’s medical result.
