Obasanjo pictured defending his PhD thesis at National Open University of Nigeria

Previous President, Olusegun Obasanjo was pictured at the classroom defending his PhD proposal at the National Open University before a scholarly board.

A short history into the previous president's educational foundation demonstrates that he went to Saint David Ebenezer School at Ibogun, for his grade school training. From 1952 to 1957, he went to Baptist Boys High School (BBHS), Abeokuta, for his secondary school training.

He was sent to India where he took preparing at the 'Indian Army School of Engineering' and at the 'Barrier Services Staff College, Wellington.
