Obasanjo Condemned Slave Trade
Previous President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo yesterday go against what he portrayed as 'dehumanizing and Condemnation' slavery in the 21st century in Africa.

Obasanjo, who was evidently talking about the resurgence of the slave trade in Libya, communicated worry that bondage had raised its monstrous head.

Obasanjo talked at the opening function of the 2017Annual Conference of the Comptroller General of Immigration of the Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS) held at the MITROS Residences in Abeokuta, Ogun State.

He demanded that African president "must feel a feeling of disappointment and have a calm reflection on what we have done for sure we have not done to achieve this to our own citizens."
He stated: "I trust that slave exchange in the 21st century ought to be censured in the most grounded dialect conceivable and no one who is associated with it ought to be pardoned."
