Property trade agent who helped former minister Diezani Alison-Madueke, to purchase properties in the UK has been captured in Lagos.
As per Premium reports, Adeyemi Edun was held upon landing in Nigeria on Wednesday and is as of now being held at the EFCC office in Ikoyi, Lagos.
"He has been captured as a feature of reports concerning Diezani's various corrupt case," an authority revealed to Premium journalist, It was learnt that Edun was named in U.S. court records
as having connections to an affirmed illegal tax avoidance outrage whirling around Mrs. Alison-Madueke.
court documents said he had 'helped' different Nigerian agents with the buy of £8.3m of prime London land planned 'for the utilization and advantage' of Mrs. Alison-Madueke in March 2011.
The previous oil serve is held up in the UK for tax evasion.
Additionally, property worth billions of Naira seized from her has been relinquished to the government.
