President Muhammadu Buhari has affirmed
enrolment of corpers from the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, into the National Health Insurance Scheme, NHIS.
The Director-General of the NYSC, Brig-Gen. Suleiman Kazuaure made this statement yesterday while speaking to the corps member's at the Osun NYSC orientation camp in Ede.
General Kazaure said he got an approval on Wednesday night that the president had affirmed the enrolment of all NYSC individuals into the NHIS program.
His words: "Let me tell you, the president has affirmed the enrolment of all corps individuals into the National Health Insurance Scheme.
"Truth be told, I was inspired when they called me the previous evening that soon, they will complete the entire procedure. I am certain that by one week from now, everything would be alright."
The DG likewise utilized the chance to prompt and lecture solidarity to the corps member's, saying Nigerians should all live in solidarity.
He advised the corps individuals to be specialists of progress any place they ended up, entrusting them should be
