Awolu Sahadi a trader, who purportedly kidnapped a high school young girl for two weeks was on Friday brought before Chief judge Taiwo Akanni of an Ikeja Chief Magistrates ' Court .
Sahadi, 20 , an occupant of Agege residence , a suburb of Lagos, is confronting a charge of kidnapping .
Insp. Clifford Ogu the prosecutor told the court that the offense was submitted on November 29 at Albarka Street in Agege , Lagos State .
Ogu said that the kidnapper stole a 13 - year - old young girl from Lagos and took her to his state , Zamfara , without the consent of the young lady' s guardians for two weeks .
He included that when the guardians of the young girl couldn't discover their little girl , they revealed the case to the police .
He said that the kidnapper later restored the young lady to his home at Agege two weeks after he had kidnapped her .
As indicated by Ogu , a relative of the young lady who knew about her vanishing located her and reached her parents immediately.
Ogu said the kidnapper was later captured , and amid the examination, the young lady affirmed to the police that she was taken to the place of the kidnapper family in Zamfara .
The offense repudiated Section 268 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State , 2015 .
The kidnapper, in any case, argued not blameworthy to the charge .
The judge gave the kidnapper a bail of N100, 000 with two sureties .
