Why I joined Las Palmas – Emenike


Previous Super Eagles striker, Emmanuel Emenike, has clarified why he joined poor Spanish side UD Las Palmas during the just concluded winter transfer window.

As indicated by the striker, he joined as a result of the club's great records.

Emmanuel Emenike signed for the club on a six-month loan arrangement from Greek club, Olympiacos, on exchange due date day.

The Nigeria international was the second Nigerian to join Las Palmas amid the January exchange window following the entry of Oghenekaro Etebo from Portuguese club, CD Feirense.

He additionally joined Brown Ideye and Isaac Success who signed for Malaga from Tianjin TEDA and Watford separately.

Emenike revealed to the club's authentic site, "I signed for this club since I heard a alot  about Las Palmas, and I know how the group play.

"I have not played for some time as a result of damage, but am fit now.

"It is an exceptionally demanding side, however I confide in myself and I need to draw out the best in me to Las Palmas.

"I signed for this club since I know how they play and they addressed me exceptionally well about the club.
