Barely few days after the military said Boko Haram has been defeated completely,  the sect leader, Shekau has made an appearance in a new video.

The Theatre Commander, Maj.-Gen. Rogers Nicholas, at the commencement of Operation Lafiya Dole last weekend had made the claim as he further added that hundreds of insurgents surrendered while some fled their enclave as over 100 civilians were rescued.

However, Shekau in the new footage threatens more violence in the region as he stated that his men were still in Sambisa,  he raised a question of the location where the police wives that were being arrested by them were.

The popular journalist, Ahmad Sakilda,  known for his coverage of the sect, also took to his Twitter account to confirm the video.
