Lauretta Onochie says the Government has no power to ban BBN over sexual scenes says it is an adult show

Some Nigerians have been calling for the ban of Big Brother Naija especially over the sex scenes that keeps coming from the reality show.

Some people have called on the Federal Government to take necessary steps as most said if it was a musical video that were showing drugs and the likes,  the Government will be quick to ban but not a show like BBN, which is promoting sex.

However,  the Special assistant to President Buhari on social media,  Lauretta Onochie, has spoken on the popular reality TV show tagged Big Brother Naija 2018 'Double Wahala.'

The Special Assistant said the Nigerian government had no power and authority to ban or suspend immoralities on the show as it is an adult programme.

Onochie via her Twitter handle said she doesn't have such powers to end the show, she however wrote to parents saying "If your children are watching it, it’s your fault, not mine"
