- Coup in Chelsea as players lose confidence in Antonio Conte
The new coup against Conte came following the Blues defeat by Bournemouth as they have been knocked out of the race for the Carabao Cup and now they also risk danger of losing out of the race of the top four if they lose against La liga giant, Barcelona in the Champions League.
According to an inside source at Stamford Bridge, Conte could say his goodbye to the club if Chelsea lose to Barcelona. It further added that all the senior players in the squad, save for Cesar Azpilicueta, have lost confidence in the professionalism of Conte.
A report revealed the matter started after Conte’s decision to axe Diego Costa by Text and a recent bust-up with the club’s defender David Luiz added fuel to the issue.
Presently, only Cesar Azpilicueta is in support of Conte. This is not the first time this kind of issue will be coming up in Chelsea, a similar scene had played out during Ex Chelsea turn Manchester United coach Jose Mourinho's administration back in 2015.
Report revealed the only way Conte could redeem himself was to win against Barcelona in the coming match.
Should Chelsea lose, Carlo Ancelotti or Luis Enrique may take up Conte's as Chelsea's manager.
