Antonio reveals why Emerson Palmieri is yet to make a debut appearance for Chelsea
Chelsea embattled coach, Antonio Conte has disclosed when one of the club new signing, Emerson Palmieri will make his first appearance.
Come Friday night, Chelsea will be going head to head against Hull City during the fifth round of the FA Cup.
When ChelseaTV asked Conte whether he would play some few new faces in the match against Hull, he gave a positive answer but he stressed that Chelsea wants to make it to the next round.
The Italian said Chelsea wants to try hard to win the game as they prepare their confidence ahead of tougher games against the likes of Barcelona and then English league toppers, Manchester United and Manchester City.
He also affirmed that a player like Ampadu deserve to play in the game, on the part of Emerson, Conte said the player had been ready to play from the start but Chelsea wants to win.
Prior to his arrival in England, Emerson had been signed to Roma but ended up being a Chelsea player at few hours to the closure of the January transfer window.
Emerson arrived Chelsea with a serious cruciate ligament injury that made him play for just 15 minutes in the Serie A.
The defender is yet to play in any of Chelsea game as Conte has been quite cautious with most his new recruit.
