Wenger reveals Aubameyang deal is done after Swansea defeat
Arsenal boss, Arsene Wenger, has revealed that The Gabon international has been signed by the Emirates side.
Wenger uncovered this after his side was thrashed 3-1 at Swansea City on Tuesday evening.
The Dortmund striker landed at the London Colney prior in the day, to conclude agreement on a £180,000 seven days bargain after his £60m move from his German club, Dortmund.
A columnist asked the Gunners supervisor: "Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is an Arsenal player, you should be glad to complete the arrangement?"
Wenger answered: "Yes, it is an uplifting news. Arsenal needs more player who can strike offensively against any big team in England and europe.
"Right now, we aren't sufficient going ahead and I am persuaded he will give us that.
"He has a major test before him. He needs to show his ability in the Premier League.
"It is completely uplifting news for us.
"His force, his abilities. The nature of his runs. His tremendous physical limit, that will be significant in the Premier League."
However Arsene Wenger has blasted his side after their last game defeat to Swansea on Tuesday.
The coach says the players abilities and strength is not enough to win the game.
Meanwhile, Monreal strikes in for the gunners before Swansea city strikes in three goals against Arsenal.
