Trader sent to jail for raping minor
Isah Ahmadu a 42 year old business man, was on Tuesday condemned to three years in prison by a Jos Upper Court sitting in Kasuwan Nama, for raping a 7-year-old young girl.
Based on the police inspector in charge of the investigation Sgt.Ibrahim Gukwat, the Case was brought to the Nassarawa Gwom Police Station in Jos on Jan. 5, by the young girl mom.
Ibrahim expressed that the young girl was sent to purchase a roll of bread, when the suspect took her to an uncompleted building and powerfully had his sexual advances on the little girl.
The inspector told the court that the young girl returned home in bad pain and was promptly questioned by her mom.
The business man pleased guilty to the case.
The offense is agaisnt Section 285 of the Penal Code.
Isah said, "I am very sad about the incident and I promise the court not to act in such way again.
I beg the court to tamper justice with mercy.
Meanwhile the judge, Yahaya Mohammed, nonetheless, indicted and condemned the rapist to three years in prison.
Furthermore the judge advice organization different groups and organization have established association to look into girl underage sexual assault in the general public, and should report cases of rape to the organization for further investigation.
