One feared dead as police, Shiites clash in Kaduna
A supporter from the Islamic group in Nigeria, also called 'Shites' was apparently killed on Sunday after a Group protest with detainment of their head group, Sheik Ibrahim El-Zakzaky, in Kaduna.
The Release Zakzaky Group Protests was carried out along Kaduna Ahmadu Bello Way Kano Road at 5pm.
Meanwhile, the representative of Kaduna police force, ASP Mukhtar Aliyu, revealed that just two protesters where wounded, included that nobody lost his live in the protest.
Aliyu portrayed that policemen were at the Leventis junction to stop angry protesters subsequent to getting reports
that the Shi'ites were going to set out on a protest walk before the clash happened.
"Furthermore there was a quarrel between the group and the police prompting two protesters and one policeman harmed.
"However the issue have been resolved after some arrest" he said.
In opposite, Shiites' representative, Ibrahim Musa, affirmed that one protester was slaughtered while a few others were harmed.
"It has been revealed that one protester was slaughtered and a few others were harmed by the police.
"The force personnel shot heavily to scatter the group protesters in this way making drivers and other street users run for safety.
"Release Zakzaky parades were completed in significant towns of northern Nigeria to press for the release of Sheik Ibrahim Zakzaky as a result of the news of his bad health condition," he said.
