Newcastle united bids for iheanacho
Relegation undermined Newcastle are purportedly considering a move to ask revived Leicester City forward Kelechi Iheanacho to dump his Premier League side for St.james Park in the January winter transfer window .
Newcastle, who was forced out of the FA Cup after Chelsea overcame the side at Stamford bridge on sunday, are available for a good striker before the January exchange window closes on Wednesday night.
They are one point above the relegation side and will be risking to go into another relegation in three years.
Based on news revealed, Feyenoord have rejected a bid from Newcastle to sign Danish striker Nicolai Jorgensen, meanwhile the team have placed a whooping £20m on him
With Feyenoord getting down to business over the Denmark forward, frustrated Magpies coach Rafael Benitez has supposedly moved his thoughtfulness regarding Iheanacho as his other options if Jorgensen fails to sign for the magpies.
Nigeria international Iheanacho, who has begun only two Premier League game for the Foxes since joining from Man City the previous summer, scored a brace in Leicester's 5 - 1 annihilation of Peterborough in their FA Cup win against Peterborough at the ABAX Stadium on Saturday to take his count to four in the opposition this season.
The Mirror asserted on Sunday that Newcastle had reestablished their enthusiasm for Iheanacho, who ignored them to join Leicester in a £25m deal last year.
