Mourinho explains why Alexis Sanchez missed drug test

Manchester United head coach, Jose Mourinho has clarified why his new winter signing, Alexis Sanchez skipped his drug test.

The former Chelsea coach said neither Arsenal nor Manchester United are to be blamed in the missed medication test.

Medication analyzers landed at Arsenal's London Colney preparing ground hours before Sanchez's transfer deal was formally declared.

Sanchez was no where to be found and had neglected to inform UK Anti-Doping of his presence.

Gunners coach, Arsene Wenger had on Friday said his club would not assume any punishment after Sanchez failed to conduct the drug test, yet Mourinho felt it was just a coincidental mistake.

The Portuguese gaffer stated, "I think Arsenal were extremely fair with the way they moved towards the circumstance.

"We as a whole know we should tell the whereabouts of our players, where they are 24 hours per day, yet I think everyone comprehends no one knew where Sanchez would have been, the place he would prepare, and where he was to rest.

"It was only a time of winter signing, It's effectively justifiable and it was nobody's mix-up."

"It was only an outcome of the rush situation."

Reports revealed Sanchez could face two years ban if found guilty of the incident by the FA.
