Nysc reacts to clash issues between Corp members and soldier's in kano


The National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, in Kano, has responded to the detailed conflict amongst officers and a few corps individuals in the orientation camp at Karaye Local Government Area of the state.

Report developed on the online networking before the end of last week that officers and a few corps individuals conflicted in the NYSC camp in Kano.

In an announcement by the NYSC advertising officer, Aliyu Ahmed, which was made accessible to newsmen on Sunday, the scheme denied the report.

The announcement stated, "The consideration of the Management of the NYSC has been attracted to news reports of conflicts between a gathering of Corps individuals and the Camp Commandant, Capt. Anyaegbunan amid the progressing 2017 Batch 'B' Orientation Course at Karaye.

"We wish to state for the records that the face off began because of moves made by a gathering of Corps individuals in solidarity with their friends who were being punished while standing around inside the Camp Premises as social action was going on.

"The chant of solidarity tunes by the Corps individuals was a push to get the failing Corps members discharged from the Camp Commandant which later escalated in the camp premises."

As indicated by the scheme the circumstance was quickly brought under control after the commandant attends to the Corps members on the issue.
