NNPC has finally solve the problem of fuel scarcity-- IPMAN
The Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria, IPMAN, has said that long lines at oil stations in Lagos and Ogun states will soon vanish.
As indicated by IPMAN, the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, has overwhelmed the Ejigbo stop with Premium Motor Spirit, otherwise called petroleum.
IPMAN said that the Ejigbo fuel depot supplies no less than 900 filling stations in Lagos.
The IPMAN administrator in Lagos State, Alhaji Alanamu Balogun, said this in an announcement on Sunday.
Balogun said the NNPC had now expanded day by day supply to Ejigbo from six trucks to 80 and has even guaranteed to build the supply.
He stated, "Before the fuel emergency, the NNPC was providing our individuals just six trucks day by day, yet since around five days presently, the enterprise has expanded the supply to 80 trucks for every day and guaranteed to build the supply.
"Our individuals and the NNPC staff are currently working 24 hours day by day to guarantee that fuel flows all finished Lagos and Ogun State consistently ," the announcement cited Balogun as saying on Sunday.
"The NNPC has repaired all the current offices at Ejigbo satellite station to upgrade fuel supply to people in general. The circumstance now is that the fuel shortage in Lagos and Ogun state will end inside the following couple of days. Individuals from general society are educated to stop freeze purchasing with respect to fuel and putting away oil based commodities in their homes which could cause fire debacle."
"The NNPC has guaranteed to repair every one of its offices in Ilorin , Ibadan and Ore warehouses to guarantee consistent fuel supply across the nation," he included.
