Nigerian popstar gone international, Ayodeji Balogun popularly referred to as Wizkid, with his huge popularity is one of the best thing to have come out of Africa at large having won numerous foreign awards and many hit songs to his name.

However, the father of three and 'Daddy Yo' crooner has also been on the lips of many especially concerning the rivalry between him and fellow superstar artiste, Davido.

Wizkid during a live chat with Sunday Scoop on the issue of himself and Davido said, “I don’t dwell on things like that. Music is my focus, not rivalry.''

He said he is out to make good music and he believes that the sky is wide enough for every one to fly.

Wizkid also spoke on his achievement so far in 2017 as he said this year had been very great for him and he is thankful to God and all my fans who made it possible.
He further revealed he had been very busy and it has been a roller-coaster for him. He said he is glad that there is more focus on African music now.

Wizzy, as he is popularly referred to as by Nigerian fans also spoke on why he visited his old neighbourhood in Surulere part of Lagos. The Star Boy record label owner said he is a Surulere boy through and through and that is his identity which he is proud of. He added that he went back to see his people and to spread some love.
