Leicester city coach talks on Ahmed Musa feature at the club


Leicester City supervisor, Claude Puel, has clarified why Ahmed Musa does not play frequently.

The French national additionally said the club will settle on a choice on the fate of the Nigerian forward in January.

The Super Eagles winger, who was a key figure in his former club, joined the Leicester from CSKA Moscow last season yet has attempted to have an effect since the move.

Ahmed Musa have not featured in the Premier League game for Leicester City this season.

He just highlighted once in a Carabao Cup against Sheffield United in August where he scored for the club in their 4-1 win.

He has shown up for Leicester City U-23s four times. Puel disclosed to BBC Sport, "It's not an opportunity to talk about weather he can make changes to the squad or on the off chance that he can leave the squad in January.

"We'll take a gander look at all the players. Right now no any changes in the squad.

"He's a decent player with quality. For me he's not a striker, he's a winger who can play on the left or right.

"He can assault space, has great infiltration however there's a bit competition in rivalry with (Marc) Albrighton, (Demarai) Gray and (Riyad) Mahrez.

"In some cases it's intense, it's troublesome for the staff to settle on a decision and give him more playing time."
