Kogi Student hacked to death by room mate


The Kogi state polytechnic lokoja department of public administration has been tossed into grieving after the demise of Akoh Abuh Samuel. a HND undergraduate who was hacked to death by his room mate who was reported to have been battling mental challenges.

It was accumulated on Wednesday that the suspect, Agba Victor, a HND 1 undergraduate from Accounting Department fiercely hacked the victim to death without any reason.

The occurrence occurred in Felele, the edge of the foundation meeting ground.

The late Samuel who as indicated by source was best of friend to the suspect since their National Diploma days was
found with cleaver cuts on his head and neck.

He passed on while in transit to the Kogi State Specialist Hospital, Lokoja.

As per preparatory report, the accused suspect asserted that he didn't comprehend what got into him.

Affirming the report, the Kogi State Polytechnic Public Relation Officer Luke Yakubu communicated that the suspect on Sunday night began acting suspiciously towards his flat mate who is presently late.

" When the late flat mate and neighbors found this bizarre conduct originating from Victor, they took him to the
Church for prayers.

" They were best of Friends since their National Diploma days and furthermore went to the same church.

Upon further inquiry from the suspect he said after hacking the victim to death he threw the cutlass inside (well).

"He even returned to the room where the scene happened without fleeing.

" The Police is as yet completing their examination, since he was mentally ok when he gained admission  into the school. This supposed peculiar conduct began on Sunday," he clarified.

The case has been transfered from the B Division of the Nigeria Police Force Lokoja to the State Criminal Investigation Department for further investigation.
