- Germany Football Association to pay it football squad €350,000 bonus if it win the 2018 world cup

In the spirit of 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia, Germany football body, The German Football Association (DFB) in a statement yesterday disclosed each member of its football squad will receive a €350,000 bonus should the country wins the 2018 World Cup again back to back.

This means If Germany's football team wins a fifth world title, Coach Joachim Loew and his squad will get an increase in payment.

Back in 2014 when the country won the World Cup in Brazil, each member of the team had gotten a whooping sum of €300,000 each which means the bonus will increase by €50,000 in 2018 if the team wins.

Germany, who happens to be in Group F will play against Mexico on June 17,2018 in Moscow. Other countries in Group F include Sweden and South Korea.

The DFB president, Reinhard Grindel said; “For our players, it is a great motivation to become world champions back-to-back for the first time in the history of German football."

Information revealed the German football body paying scheme. The body wouldn't pay the team until it reaches at least the quarter-finals, where each player would get €75,000, then the cash rises to €125,000 if they make it to the semi-finals. If they make it to the third place the squad will get €150,000 and €200,000 if they lose the final on July 15 at Moscow’s Luzhniki Stadium.
