Buhari visits farm in Daura hometown


President Muhammadu Buhari visits his home town on sunday where he also check out his farm in daura, Katshina state.

He spent the end of the week in the town having touched base there in the early hours of Friday after his two - day official visit to Kano State .

The President is planned to leave the town on Monday (today ) and continue to Paris , France where he is relied upon to partake in ' One Planet Summit . '

In the wake of assessing his homestead , Buhari shared his photos on the ranch on his Twitter handle .

He communicated the expectation that Nigerians would be roused to grasp cultivating .

The President said his vision was to see
Nigeria , under his initiative , " develop what its natives eat . "

Buhari composed , " I ' m spending a couple of days at home in Daura before I go to France for the One Planet Summit .

" Today ( Sunday ), I visited my ranch. I develop products of the soil , and keep cattles . I trust this will move one more individual to take up cultivation.

" My vision for Nigeria is to plant what they eat. "

Furthermore , Buhari on Sunday evening facilitated some northern representatives in Daura .

The Katsina State Governor , Bello Masari , drove the representatives to the meeting which was held away behind closed doors .

The representatives were said to be in the state for a withdraw planned to hang on Tuesday and chose to visit Buhari who spent the end of the week in the place where he grew up after his two - day official visit .

One of the meeting senators , Kabiru Gaya , told journalists that they grabbed the chance of the meeting to talk about issues concerning great administration and national solidarity with the President .
