- Boxing Day turn tragedy as building get engulfed by fire in Lagos

What would have been a day when gift are box to one another and fun filled has turned to a tragic experience where millions of naira in properties were engulfed in fire at Adesina Street, Akowonjo area of Lagos state.

The house is believed to be used as a telecommunications office in the area.

As at now the main cause of the fire remains unknown as some residents in the neighbourhood made move to put the fire out till the arrival of the men of the Lagos State Fire Service and Lagos State Emergency Management Agency arrived around 11am.

However, the fire was later put out.
