3 People lost their lives in Ogun State Accident


ABEOKUTA—Three people have supposedly lost their lives in an accident including a Honda Civic auto and a white Nissan cabstar at Olorunsogo town along Abeokuta- Sagamu Expressway.

The Public Relations Officer, Traffic Compliance and Requirement Corps, TRACE, Babatunde Akinbiyi, who affirmed the occurrence yesterday, said the mishap
happened Saturday night.

The scene of the mishap Akinbiyi said the Nissan cabstar with number plates  KSF 906 XR was speeding and in the process lost control.

He said the cabstar left its path for the other path, which drove to a head-on impact with the Honda auto with number plates GBE 495 AA.

His words: "The cabstar was on top speed, lost control and crossed to the contrary path and hit the approaching vehicle.

"The incident included eight individuals: six guys, two females.

Three guys kicked the bucket in the mishap while two individuals experience different degrees of wounds."

The TRACE representative said the dead body were taken to the Government Medical Center, FMC, morgue in Abeokuta, and the harmed ones were admitted to a similar healing center.

Mr. Lenient Oladele, the Sector Commander, Federal Road safety Corps, FRSC, in Ogun State, likewise affirmed the occurrence.
