Ex-Man United player Patrice Evra wraps up West Ham United switch
Previous Manchester United player Patrice Evra has penned down a transfer deal with West Ham United until the end of this season.
The France international, a free player subsequent to leaving Marseille in November when his deal was terminated after he kicked a fan, will wear the No. 27 shirt.
The former united defender was prohibited from UEFA games until the end of the season yet he is qualified to play in the Premier League.
He revealed to the official West Ham site: "I'm extremely glad to be a westham player, to be back in the Premier League, and I cherish this competition.
"It's good to be back and I am grateful to West Ham for giving me the chance to carry out my activity.
"I'm happy to play here, it's extremely straightforward. I don't understand how fortunate I am until I woke up this morning to know I will start training with my new teammates.
"It was the speediest thing I have done in my life, in light of the fact that the two clubs agreed to the terms fast, so it was very easy to come back to the EPL game."
Evra will now face his former United club in the second leg of the EPL competition between the hammars and the Red devils.
