An underage boy, Samsodeen Adeniran, has drowned in a stream on Lisaluwa Street, Ondo town, Ondo State.
Based on reports from the source, the boy left home on Monday with four of his street friends to trap fish in the waterway, however did not return home.
An eye witness said the victim friends couldn't clarify his whereabouts, as a search team was sorted out to search for him at the stream.
Local swimmers were utilized to locate the missing kid.

Another source told our reporter that the victims guardians were apprehended by the Ondo State Police Command for the sudden death of the boy.
The Ondo State Police Public Relation Officer, Mr. Femi Joseph, affirmed the occurrence, describing the incident as unfortunate.
He then, denied the apprehension of the boy's parent saying they where only called for statement.
Joseph said, It is nonsensical to state that we arrest the boy's parent .
